I found it easier to do one-line updates and be social over on that other site.
Sigh.
I will get my blog going again, because FB doesn't have an easy way to save everything you've written.

I agree. Until facebook implements anything at all similar to data liberation. I can't recommend putting anything you might ever care to have access to again in the future within the walls of fb.
